Katrina and The Arts

Biloxi Art Museum:

I've just finished reading an article titled Katrina and The Arts, about the effects of katrina on arts museums in the Gulf Coast. I liked this article because i could relate to it, since i've lived in the Gulf Coast my entire life. I love the fact that so many people have tried to help rebuild the Gulf Coast, especially the art museums. It's tragic that so much artwork was destroyed during the hurricane, because art is the hardest thing to get back. If it can't be restored, the piece of artwork can never be recreated in exactly the same way. So it is important that people appreciacte art, and try to preserve the artwork in anyway they can.
